BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Cangene’s Business Development team actively seeks new opportunities that have the potential to make a difference in patient health. We evaluate opportunities to in-license products at all stages of development, acquire commercialized or recently approved products, or collaborate with partners to launch products within North America. Our primary targets for in-licensing and partnership opportunities are hospital-based specialty products, and orphan drugs.

- U.S. sales and marketing capability with focus on hospital-based specialty products
- Fully-integrated commercial infrastructure, including warehousing
- Established contracts with major GPOs, wholesalers, distributors and managed-care organizations

Clinical Development and R&D

Broad experience in advancing early-stage products
- Experienced clinical development teams, including medical and scientific affairs with a proven track record for developing and executing clinical trials with clear endpoints;
- Established regulatory track record with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Health Canada and with other regulatory bodies worldwide
- FDA- and Heath Canada-licensed manufacturing and plasma-collection facilities
